The BC Shellfish Festival is the largest shellfish festival on the West Coast. Every June, the Comox Valley hosts a 10-day event that brings people from near and far. Festival day you will meet the farmers, sample a delectable array of food from the sea, and learn the tips of professional chefs during a series cooking demos. Watch as contestants go one on one in the Fanny Bay Oysters Shucking Competition to win a trip to PEI and compete in the Raspberry Point Shucking Competition. Other events include a boat tour to a shellfish farm in Baynes Sound, oyster and wine pairings at a local vineyard, a six course chef dinner, cocktail competition and much, much more!
